Nana Teresa's Bake Shop opened doors on June 27, 2014 in our wonderful little town of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island. The bakery is beautifully nestled on the corner of South 5th and Ash just a street away from the hustle of Center Street. When you walk in get ready for sensory overload...from the boutiqually-updated (I think I just made that word up :)) look of the historic building, to the wonderful smell of the espresso machine and sweet treats baking in the kitchen, to the sounds of everyone ohhhing and ahhhing, and finally the taste of your favorite items...it is more than I can express on this computer!
Owner Teresa Marakin has studied abroad and ensures that you will have the "sweetest experience" at her bakery. They use as many organic ingredients possible, imported Belgian and Afican chocolates, European butter and farm fresh eggs. The bakery offers a plethora of on-hand sweet treats, but also take special orders designing custom cakes, cupcakes, pastries, etc.
