Can you believe that it is that time again? School is official in, in our little town. Alarms go off and kids whine way earlier than you want them too! The bags are packed and loading everyone up and out the door can be a chore! I remember every year my mother took our individual school pictures with our back packs on just inside the front door. I do that too, but I like to kick it up a notch and capture some great memorable ones too. My little one started Kindergarten this year and has owned it like a champ! The night before I convinced my daughter to take just 4 quick shots for me...and this one was the keeper! I just loved it.
Just a week before I had the delight to work with a great Senior capturing her Senior Session. I love Senior Portrait Sessions. Every one of them is unique! We do consultations prior to each one so we can choose the best location, attire, style, etc...and it works! Brandi was a fun Senior whom I have had the privilege of photographing before at her prom for the last 2 years. She had picked out 3 great outfits that showed her personality and her family happened to live on a beautiful farm where we were able to capture HER!
Pretty soon, you are going to get the note home in your child's folder saying, School Pictures are coming up...do not feel obligated to let those pictures capture the years of your child's youth. Think outside the box. Consider have something more personal with a background you choose, expressions you love, and images that you get to proof prior to purchasing! Give us a call.
