10 years is a perfect time for a wedding -Beach Wedding on Amelia Island

10 years later was a perfect time for a wedding!  Shelby and Stephen tied the knot June 13th, 2017, exactly 10 years later since the day Shelby and Stephen decided to be a couple.  They married in on our beautiful beach in Amelia Island in the same spot that he proposed!  

They met 10 years ago while Shelby was beginning her Senior Year in High School. They lived in such a small town in North Carolina and Stephen had just finished his first year of college at Campbell University and was home for the summer. They were encouraged to meet by one of Shelby's friends and say they hit it off immediately.  So well, that Stephen made Shelby promise that she would let him take her to dinner the following day; thankfully she kept her promise. On June 13th, 2007, they officially became "boyfriend and girlfriend". The couple moved to Kansas City for Stephen's job, where they stayed for 3 and half years. Their favorite vacation each year was the trip to Fernandina Beach to see Shelby's family, but now they call it home.
